LPIA Terminal Redevelopment

BHM working directly for NAD, were awarded the preliminary pre building works for the LPIA expansion project the works including initial site clearance, the salvaging of site won material, proof rolling and grading of the sub grade, the importation of lime rock fill material to achieve grade.

Lynden Pindling International Airport, is the largest airport and gateway into the Bahamas, with the airport being managed by Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD). The airport to increase capacity and update the airport facilities has been redeveloped in three phases the first stage included the construction of a new U.S departures terminal. Stage 2 consisted of the complete renovation of the current U.S terminal, as the new U.S/International arrivals terminal, stage 3 involved the design and construction of a new domestic arrivals and departures terminal, as well as an international departures terminal.

The excavation of the new terminal foundations and footings and preparation of base material, backfilling and compaction.
