BHM has extensive experience in marine and port and sea defense projects, including developing ports and harbour construction, new and rehabilitation, within The Bahamas.

We place emphasis on all aspects of planning, safety, and responsible working methods to respect the local environment and communities in which we operate.

BHM have been involved in numerous ports, sea defense, coastal protection, land reclamation, and marine projects, utilizing various methods of working, including sheet piling, boulder works, hard-scape and concrete retaining works specifically within the Bahamas.

Projects include costal protection and land reclamation, luxury marinas and dock master facilities, broad walks and commercial ports.

With increased concerns for Climate resilient costal management & infrastructure works to combat potential risks, included those associated with climate change, there is a need for sustainable coastal protection infrastructure improvement works, to protect both economies and local communities.
