Infrastructure Improvement Project
Client: Lyford Cay Property Owners Association
Lyford Cay a private gated community located on the western New Providence Island commissioned property infrastructure improvements, which included road rehabilitation, entrance upgrades and the construction of a new fire station.
BHM were appointed for the design, engineering and construction of the rehabilitation of the internal roadways, utilities, drainage and fire well systems, the existing entrance realignment & upgrade, and the construction of a new fire station & command center.
The project included:
- Rehabilitation of 14 miles of roadway in Hot Mix Asphalt, installation of utility duct crossings, Utilities, drainage sewer system and road markings.
- Entrance Realignment – including wells, paving, footpaths, boundary wall security booths & traffic management.
- Fire Station & Command Centre – including new Fire Station, Utility upgrades, car parks paving and drainage.
